What are the applications of Gold?
Due to its characteristics, gold is a metal that can be applied to a large number of products used for the most different purposes.
The “non” monetary applications of gold are divided into decorative and functional :
- Decorative Applications: Decorative items, jewelry, religious ornaments.
- Functional applications: In the electronics and aerospace industries, electronic components, heat shields, diodes, printed circuits, and connection pins, among others. There are also alloys used in dental prosthetics, electrical contacts, chemical equipment, photography, and other applications, where gold is used.
