How do I buy from the online store?

To purchase a product, simply select one of the categories available in the website menu, then choose your favorite item. Once you've selected all your favorite products, simply click the shopping cart icon in the top right corner and then click "Checkout."
We've reached checkout! It's time to fill out and confirm all your information and shipping address. If you have a discount code, this is where you should enter it.
To complete your order, you have several payment methods at your disposal: MBWAY, via Multibanco Reference or Paypal.
Currently, it is still possible to pay cash on delivery for Gold items, with a 10% deposit paid before shipping. The remaining amount is then paid to the delivery person upon delivery.
If you want, you can still pay in 3 installments through the KLARNA app.
Select payment method and that's it! Order processed!
We'll now ship your purchase, ensuring it arrives quickly. Deliveries take on average 1 to 2 business days.

IS IT SAFE TO BUY GOLD ITEMS?

Yes. Shopping at Loja do Ouro (The Gold Shop) is completely safe. Our website uses encrypted connections (SSL), ensuring that all personal data and payment information is transmitted securely and confidentially.

We work exclusively with certified and recognised payment platforms, which guarantee the protection of your transactions at every stage. We never store credit card details or share your information with third parties.

Our credit partner providers, such as Klarna and SeQura, are responsible for processing and approving instalment payment requests. This process takes place directly on their own platforms and does not pass through Loja do Ouro. Our team has no access to your banking details or any financial information provided during that process.

Loja do Ouro is a Portuguese company with years of experience and a strong reputation in the jewellery sector, always offering you a safe, transparent and trustworthy shopping experience — just as in our physical stores.

Can I cancel my order after its confirmation?

Yes, it is possible to amend or cancel an order, provided it has not yet been processed. In that case, simply contact our customer support team via the online chat or by phone on 244 835 486.

If your order has already been dispatched, please wait until you receive it and then get in touch with our support team, who will guide you through the returns process.

Will I get a confimation email of my order?

Yes. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know it will be processed as soon as possible by the Loja do Ouro team. Please note that we do not currently send an automatic "payment confirmed" email notification. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a WhatsApp notification containing a tracking link and/or tracking code so you can follow your delivery in real time.

If you cannot find the confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder. If you have not received any notification at all, please get in touch via our support chat or by phone on +351 244 835 486 and we will check the status of your order for you.

I'm located outside of Portugal, can I receive my order?

Sim. A Loja do Ouro realiza envios internacionais para vários países.

Durante o checkout, ao preencher a morada de envio, serão calculados automaticamente os custos de envio de acordo com a morada indicada.

Os prazos de entrega são indicados no momento do check-out e variam consoante o país e o método de envio escolhido, sendo sempre disponibilizado um código de rastreio para acompanhar a encomenda.

Does your Jewelry come with an Authenticity Certificate?

Yes. All gold articles are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by our Official Appraisers, who are fully certified by the Portuguese National Mint and Official Hallmarking Authority (INCM).

Silver articles are supplied with a Guarantee Card, which includes the official certification for each piece.

Only items in steel or leather do not include a certificate of authenticity, as these are not precious metals.

In addition to the certificate, all gold and silver pieces are fully hallmarked by the Portuguese National Mint and Official Hallmarking Authority (INCM), guaranteeing their quality, purity and authenticity.

How do I know what size should I choose on a jewel?

On each product page you will find a link to our Size Guide, where we explain in a simple and straightforward way how to find your perfect fit.

In the guide you will find:

  • How to identify the right bracelet size;
